Curriculum

Our Curriculum Offer

At St Edward's we are aspirational in terms of our curriculum aims and planning, it has engagement and motivation at the heart. 

 

For Maths we follow 'White Rose Maths', English is text driven and is underpinned by 'Wordsmith' and 'Supersonic Phonic Friends' is our Phonics provision. Our reading offer is extensive and progressive, our EYFS and Year 1 read from our phonetically decodable range of books with Year 2 to Year 6 reading from Accelerated reader.  All areas of our curriculum focus on current and prior learning, are knowledge and vocabulary centric and are designed for our children. Our Curriculum offer will be communicated to you via our new school year induction evenings, parents evening and any parental workshops that take place.
