Catholic Life Committee at St Edwards

We are the Catholic Life Committee at St Edward's Catholic Primary and Nursery School. It is our job to lead and support our fellow pupils as well as the other members of our school and parish community.

We often meet and discuss how we can continue to guide the school in the way Jesus intended. We enjoy evaluating the Catholic Life of the school and taking part in activities that help to promote Catholic Social Teaching. We ensure that our school demonstrates our faith through our words and actions and ensure the environment embraces our faith.

You might see us reading at Mass, being part of Gospel assemblies or assisting in the preparation of Prayer and Liturgy.

Being part of the Catholic Life Committee is a real privilege and we really enjoy the work we do. We hope it shapes the future of all at St Edwards, our own lives too, as well as those we serve.

Liturgy Leaders also play a huge role in the daily life of prayer in each classroom. Our Liturgy Leaders will lead in times of reflection and prayer. All children in each class can take on the role of a Liturgy Lead throughout the year to plan, lead and evaluate Prayer and Liturgy in their class.
